Teaching is the beginning of a new chapter in her professional life.  A software engineering position with Bell Northern Research brought her to Ann Arbor after graduation from Western Michigan University in 1985.  She also held software development positions with the Ann Arbor companies once known as Medstat and Comshare before resigning to go off to graduate school.
