Allen Creek Preschool Application Process

Getting Started

Enrollment inquiries to Allen Creek can be started by a phone call (734-994-3382), email (allencreek@allencreek.org), or by stopping by the school (2350 Miller Ave., Ann Arbor, Michigan 48103).  You can also fill out our online inquiry form

One of our staff will contact you to answer your questions, provide information about our programs, and set up a visit for the parent(s) or guardian(s) at the school.

Generally, we enroll students prior to the fall for the school year. Children can also be enrolled throughout the school year if places are available. However, permission to contact current teachers, schools, or centers may be requested.

Open Houses

Open Houses are an opportunity for parents and children to see our school and meet our staff. Allen Creek holds open houses starting in December.

Parent/Guardian Visit

We like to afford an opportunity for parents to have a more extended conversation with us about what you are looking for in a school for your children and you. During this visit, we can respond individually to your questions and think with you about the fit between your goals and our program offerings.

Child and Parent/Guardian Visit

Alternantively, we schedule a visit for you to bring your child to our school outside of class time to meet a classroom teacher and another administrative team member. This allows you to see your child respond to our setting and staff, and allows us to meet your child.

More about our Teachers and Administration.

Registration

Registration is the final step. Registration and Financial Assistance forms are available below on our website, in hard copy at school, and by email. Once a child is registered, an Enrollment Packet must be completed before the first day of attendance.

We could not be more grateful that we found Allen Creek for our son. The developmental leaps he has made since attending (3s and 4s program) have been astounding. The parent groups and the support from the family consultants are invaluable. We feel so much more confident as parents and are amazed at how well our 4 year-old can express his feelings, work to resolve conflict and act with compassion. The scholarship program makes it possible for our family to be a part of Allen Creek and we are so thankful for that.

Wait List

The classes at Allen Creek are often full, and we maintain a waiting list for those classes. In the event that a family withdraws during the year, we will offer the available space to the next family on the waiting list for that class. In the rare event that the family of a currently enrolled child wishes to switch classes, that family will go to the top of the waiting list.

Nondiscrimination Statement

Allen Creek Preschool welcomes children and families from all ethnic, racial, religious, or national backgrounds and diverse family structures.
